Minigrip Consumer Products is located in Seguin (San Antonio), Texas with two manufacturing plants and company headquarters that has operated for twenty years. Prior to being in Texas, Minigrip operated in Orangeburg, NY and manufactured the first reclosable zipper bag back in 1959. Minigrip owns the trademark for putting color in food storage bags, and consumers worldwide have come to “Follow the Color Line to Quality™”.

In 1984 Minigrip was purchased by ITW, a global Fortune 100 company with more than 750 business units in over 50 countries worldwide. The strong financial resources of a Fortune 100 company together with business unit autonomy have proven to be a successful combination for Minigrip.
